I love friendship movies. I love male or female bonding in films.
I remember that friendship movie with Gene Hackman, titled Scarecrow. 1973 I think. I am real movie buff LOL... It was with Al Pacino, a youngster at the time. He was a youngster in the movie. When it comes down to it, any special friendship in movies and perhaps real life is a delicate fluctuating play between yin and yang, even though people are of the same sex.
Come to think of it, friendship is by far my favorite ‘theme’ in movies :-)

friendship is an amazing theme for a movie...
some great ones that come to mind quickly, include:
rushmore, butch cassidy & the sundance kid, the pope of greenwich village,
the outsiders, breaking away
i recommend all of those, highly.

ps- i love your writing style as you know-
and your titles and such... this one kills me:
CCK — what the hell is happening, page 25
thanks again, as always... and i am glad you enjoy movies-
they are the biggest part of my life, with the web & art
